One Line for Everything
- The two search bars for Google and ChatGPT give way to a single command bar – one field that understands what you are after
- Typing searches your own links first: matches at the start of a word rank highest, pinned links get a slight edge, and the matching part of the name is highlighted
- If nothing fits, you continue straight to Google or ChatGPT – with the same text, no retyping
- What you typed can now be turned into a task or a note in one step, without leaving the start page
- Fully keyboard operable: Ctrl + K (⌘ + K on Mac) or "/" jumps into the field, arrow keys select, Enter opens, Esc closes
- A small hint on the right of the field shows the shortcut – and steps back once you are in the field
- The command bar respects your setting for whether links and searches open in the same tab or a new one
- In the settings, the separate "Google search" and "ChatGPT search" switches are replaced by a single "Command bar" switch
- Sticky notes now carry a strip of tape instead of a pin – every other note tilted slightly differently, so the wall does not look measured out with a ruler
- Bug fix: notes created from the command bar stayed empty – the text you entered is now carried over correctly
- As always fully available in German, English and French
Location, Time Zone & Right-Click – Your Call
- Set the weather location manually: search for a place, pick it, done – ideal when the automatic IP lookup is off because of a VPN
- One click on "Reset" brings back automatic location detection at any time
- Freely choose the time zone for clock and date – your browser time zone still applies by default
- The chosen time zone also drives the greeting and the calendar email reminders
- Decide for yourself whether saved links open in the same tab or in a new one
- The same choice is available separately for the Google and ChatGPT search bars
- Right-clicking a saved link opens a new menu: open, open in the other tab, copy link, pin, rename, change URL or delete – no detour through the settings
- On mobile the same menu opens with a long press
- Weather icons now reflect the time of day: a moon instead of a sun on clear nights, plus matching night variants for clouds and showers
- Icons take on the colour of the conditions – golden sun, silvery moon, blue rain, violet thunderstorm – with subtle motion
- More precise weather descriptions: freezing rain, snow grains, snow showers and thunderstorms with hail are now named correctly
- Browser extension: links in the popup follow your setting and can be copied, pinned or deleted via right-click
- Bug fix: the Pomodoro durations from the settings were not persisted – they now stick
- As always fully available in German, English and French
Tasks, New Tutorial & Extension Fixes
- New tasks widget: check off to-dos right on your start page, with optional due date and priority
- Overdue tasks are highlighted in red, completed ones automatically move to the bottom
- Filter "All / Active / Done" and lightning-fast adding via Enter
- Your notes stay just as they are – the tasks widget is a separate block
- Tasks can be freely arranged in the layout editor and toggled on/off in the settings
- Tasks are included in data export and import
- Completely reworked tutorial: shorter, more logical, with more reliable positioning and a confetti finale
- Browser extension: new "Tasks" tab to view, check off and quickly create to-dos
- Browser extension: save selected text as a task via right-click
- Bug fix: the Pomodoro timer in the extension ran far too slowly – it now counts down accurately and survives closing the popup

Chrome Extension Published
- The Chrome extension "StartIQ – Smart Browser Companion" has been officially approved and published in the Chrome Web Store
- Popup with quick access to all saved links and notes, organised by category
- Save the current page or selected text as a link or note with one click
- Import all open tabs at once – tab groups are preserved as categories
- Pomodoro focus timer in the popup with progress ring, badge countdown and desktop notification
- Right-click context menu to quickly save links, notes and all tabs
- New tab page is replaced by your StartIQ start page (can be turned off)
- Alternative new tab view with Google search and most visited sites
- Theme, colour scheme and language are automatically synced with the app
